During the holiday remind yourself and your family often that this is a time of thanksgiving
and wishing for peace throughout the world. Don’t over look the first place to start for that peace and thankfulness–making a difference in your own home.
Repetition is key for ADHD / Fastbraiin individuals to learn. The more we encourage and remind ourselves, our family, even those with ADHD to be thankful, the more we will see our families celebrate and enjoy time together. Work at finding good in everyone this season.
The ADHD individual feels that the world in many respects sees them as being wrong or that something is wrong with them. At FastBraiin we know that their brain is quick, creative, imaginative, and different. Not wrong type of different, it is simply different. Look for this imagination and creativity within your house, and with those that are friends or acquaintances, peers of your child and yes those family members who gather at your table and praise it.
Make a plan and an effort to repeat kindness and encouragement and thankfulness.
Highlight the positives of those who gather this holiday.
Show love and thankfulness. Tell them.
Go around the table and say something thankful about each person, it will make your Thanksgiving more complete.
Happy Thanksgiving from FastBraiin
